Downtown Disney hotels
are on Disney property, but not operated by Disney. They’re near the large outdoor entertainment, dining, shopping complex area known as “Downtown Disney.” This area is located in Lake Buena Vista and is free to the public. Guests at these hotels enjoy free shuttle service to all the parks and have onsite Disney ticket sales. They are conveniently located to shopping and dining, but are much less expensive than Disney owned resorts.
